- What were your goals for this week for career pathways?
- My goals for this week was to get more things done for BPA, like figure our what days we’re going to film, what kind of shots we are going to get, what equipment we’re going to sign out, and more. Another goal was also trying to get more comfortable and do more work on illustrator. This week I also found a place to job shadow and a college to go visit for SVD days,
- What did you achieve this week in terms of your goals?
- I achieved all my goals this week. Me and my group emailed the humane society to figure out what days were going and we already have it planned now, we also planned out the video a bit, we tested the mic were using and we filled a form to sign out equipment which we will probably be doing today. I also found a job shadow and college visit all this week for svd days.
- What problems did you have?
- A problem I had was trying to figure out BPA stuff, like what days we were going and who we are interviewing for the video. We wanted to interview people who have rescued animals and put them in our video in order to convince people to donate. Another problem i had was trying to figure out what places to go to for SVD days. I was going to go to ccad but they said they didn’t have any visits till December. It was also hard trying to find a job visit, because I didn’t even try to look for one. One more problem I had was trying to figure out what to do for the online assignment.
- How did you fix those problems?
- The bpa problems were fixed with a simple email asking what days worked best for them, and by posting asking if anyone that has a rescued animal wants to be in our video.
- I fixed these SVD day problems by talking to my mom and asking her if she knows anywhere i can job visit, she texted her friend who thought id be interested in going. I fixed the college visit problem by talking to my cousin who lives in Newark. I asked if she’d be down to taking me to A college visit Monday to OSU Newark and she said thats fine.
- i fixed the problem about the online assignment by narrowing it down to which one i want to do. I’m going to do the abstract photography one but i had some trouble figuring out what to do or what abstract photography really is. I solved most of this by talking to my photography teacher i had at my home school and she gave me some ideas and helped me figure out what abstract photography really is.
- What are your plans for next week?
- My plans for next week are to take photography pictures for the online assignment tonight, go to the humane society Friday (tomorrow) and Monday for BPA and also go to Newark on Monday for the college visit, On Tuesday i’m going to Telemundo to job shadow and on Thursday its thanksgiving so i’m gonna be eating alotttt of pie, preferably apple pie.
- What Project(s) did you work on this week
- This week i worked on BPA and a personal project on illustrator that i’m going to bring into photoshop when i’m done. I also brainstormed the ideas for the abstract photography online assignment.

This is a screenshot of the illustrator thing which doesn’t look like a lot of work for a week but i tried to focus on the detail before starting a new building.
