Let me know of a problem/challenge you had this week and how you overcame it

a challenge was trying to make my repetition photos look cool and interesting. I fixed this by trying out different things and editing them in Lightroom so it has a different vibe to it.

What are your goals for next week?

My goals are to finish my eye illustrator project, finish my portfolio website, edit photos I took on lightroom, and more

What were your goals this week?

My goals this week were to finish the front end design and resume, also do a personal illustrator project.

What did you achieve this week in terms of your goals?

I finished the front end design. I did the mock up and the responsive web design. i also did the wire sketch and I posted it to word press. . I also finished my resume but i’ll definitely be changing it throughout the year. I also started working on the illustrator project I was talking about.

What problems did you have?

For the front end design I was confused on what we were supposed to do really. It was also kinda hard trying to put the designs on the mockup and make it fit. Also when I was working on the personal illustrator project it was hard trying to make it look neat and how I imagined it, since its hard drawing with a mouse.

How did you fix those problems?

I asked for help on how to do it, and re explaining and looking over everything we were supposed to be doing really helped with the confusion. For illustrator I started using one of those drawing tablet things cause I feel it gives me more control over what i’m drawing and makes it look more neat.

What are your plans for next week?

My plans are to mostly focus on my own personal projects. I want to finish the illustrator piece i’m doing and then take it into after effects and “animate” it using the pin puppet tool. I also want to plan and take a photoshoot since we’ve started photography. On a more personal note, i want to start an art journal. Its a journal where each page is like a different piece. Theres different drawings, paintings , pictures, scraps, etc. I feel this will help me be more creative and I could use it as a mood board type thing for all the art I create.

This week I worked on the front end design and my personal illustrator project the most.

my goals this week were to finish codecademy and finish the vector dog I was working on for my friend. I also wanted to start planning out my next illustrator project.

I achieved most of my goals, I finished codecademy and the vector dog i was working on. I also started planning the next illustrator project im planning to do.

what problems did you have?

When I was working on the vector it wasnt turning out the way I wanted to. I didnt know how to make it look good or somewhat realistic.

how did you fix those problems?

I tried a different method. I started vectoring it by doing it in different shapes and adding more detail to try to get all the different colors and make it look better.

what are your plans for next week?

my plans for next week are to start and maybe even finish the new illustrator idea I have. I also want to do more web deign and understand it more. I also want to take the photoshoot I was planning on taking last week but never go to cause the camera didn’t work . So im also planning on maybe signing out a camera too. This also might be a little unreleated but at my homeschool im planning on talking to my counselor next week about joining a film literature club.

What were your goals for this week?

My goals for this week were to start the codecademy assignments and start getting into coding more. I also wanted to edit some pictures and take a photoshoot.

What did you achieve this week in terms of your goals?

I finished the html assignments and I started coding and understanding it more. I got to edit a little bit but not really.

What problems did you have?

I was trying to take a photoshoot yesterday and the camera wasn’t working. I was also really nervous about the coding because I didn’t have any experience with it or knew anything about it

How did you fix those problems?

I fixed it by trying to understand the codecademy instead of rushing through it. I also took some notes yesterday when G was going over the coding stuff.

What are your plans for next week?

next week I want to check out a camera from here and take the pictures I was trying to take this week. I also want to edit some of the other photos I never got time to. Im also planning on coding more and learning more about web design.
